A PERFECT MARRIAGE DOES NOT EXIST

LET THE SINGLES SAY…‘‘ I WILL GET IT RIGHT’’

LET THE MARRIED SAY…‘‘I CAN MAKE THINGS RIGHT’’

HE WHO FINDS A WIFE FINDS A GOOD THING AND OBTAINS FAVOUR FROM THE LORD…Gods words not mine.

There is no perfect marriage but you can have a successful marriage…..I hear people preach that they have perfect marriage, they have a great marriage….they still talk at least twice a day when apart even after 20yrs…bla….bla…I have even heard a woman of God preached that she and her husband never had an argument. I mean, seriously? They obviously haven’t had storms in their marriage.

Have they had one or both have to deal with an addiction?

Let them come and say…That their spouse didn’t have a job or means to cater for the family for years yet they had no argument.

Let them come and tell us… ‘’My spouse was unfaithful ‘’and yet…they forgave and forgot.

Let them come and say they survived the loss of a child, terminal illnesses, with no arguments whatsoever.

Let them come out and talk of the storms in their marriages and how they calmed it. Then they can preach success in marriage.

I have had storms in my marriage and still having them. However, through the application of the wisdom of God’s Word in our marriage, my husband and I have a happy and healthy relationship in spite of all the challenges.

I said to God, ‘’I can hear you say Start Now’’. But how can I start a marriage Blog when I still have unsettled issues in my marriage, we are far from perfect Lord.

Then He said, Isaiah 55:8, ‘’My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts, and my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine’’ (NLT).

So, we are going to walk through our storms together. Let’s begin our journey to Transcendence to the Glory of God!

Begin by understanding what phase you are in your marriage today! Click on ‘’SIX PHASES OF MARRIAGE’’.

Yours truly,

Wendy
