Forgiveness Opens Doors
Forgiveness Opens Divine Doors!
“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” Matthew 6:14-15 (KJV)
Forgiveness is to give up resentment of an offender or cease to feel resentment against an offender. As a child of God, always pray to have the heart of God—the heart of God is a forgiving heart (Matthew 9:2).
The opening scripture is of the view that if you forgive, God forgives you. But if you don’t forgive, God will not forgive you. This should be taken seriously so that we don’t put ourselves in trouble.
Beloved, imagine you don’t forgive, and God also does not forgive you. It means you are going to lose a lot of blessings from God because He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
Aside from that, unforgiveness causes ill health and attracts a lot of misfortunes. Therefore, cease from developing an unforgiving heart. On the other hand, a forgiving heart opens doors for God to bless you abundantly and makes you a channel of blessings; it also makes people draw closer to you.
Dear beloved, I pray that you live a good life and develop a forgiving heart. Praise the Lord! God bless you!
Prayer Point: My dear Lord Jesus Christ, thank You for Your good counsel that I should develop a forgiving heart. I take Your counsel seriously and put it to work immediately. Please lead me to develop a forgiving heart; to always forgive my offenders and be blessed. Amen!
